Cross Country

Cross country takes place as a Monday Club in the Autumn and Spring terms.

Runs takes place in the vicinity of College, often on Leckhampton and Cleeve Hill. At the end of the Autumn term a number of College pupils participate in the District Trials and each year several are selected to run for the County. There have been some individuals over the years who have reached the Nationals.

In the Spring term there are fixtures against Malvern, Clifton, Marlborough and Radley. There is also a House competition which takes place on Leckhampton Hill. Related to the cross country club is also a fairly exclusive group of pupils each year who compete in fell running events (for example the Cribyn Fell run in the Brecon Beacons).

Another related annual event in the Summer term is the Cotswold Way relay. Pupils run legs of about 5 miles starting at 5am from Bath Abbey, finishing at Chipping Campden by the end of the day - a total distance of 100 miles.
